This campaign is supported by neighbours, friends, and people across Ontario who believe Jake has what it takes to do the job. Every donation helps us reach more voters, share the message, and build momentum for accountable leadership and a stronger Haldimand.

Campaigns also need financial support because municipal election rules limit how much a candidate can contribute to their own campaign. Those limits exist to help level the playing field and ensure campaigns are not simply funded by personal wealth. That means a strong campaign depends on support from people who believe in the candidate, the message, and the future being offered to the community.

To donate to Jake’s campaign, you must be an individual who normally lives in Ontario. Businesses, corporations, unions, and organizations cannot donate.

Each person can contribute up to $1,200 to Jake’s campaign.

For transparency and record-keeping, we are required to collect basic contributor information and issue receipts for donations.

Donations to this campaign are a show of support, not a way to buy access, influence, promises, or special treatment. Jake’s decisions will always be guided by what is right for Haldimand, not by who contributes.

To protect public trust and avoid even the appearance of conflict, this campaign is not accepting donations from major developers. Jake believes decisions about growth, planning, and development must be made in the best interests of Haldimand residents.

The Jake Vandendool for Mayor campaign reserves the right to return any donation it deems incompatible with the values and standards of the campaign.
