Haldimand County will provide several advance voting opportunities across the county. To make planning easier, we have listed the available advance voting locations below in one place.

Voting early helps ensure your voice is heard, even if election day is busy or unexpected plans come up.

Online voting will be available in Haldimand County from Friday, October 16, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. until Sunday, October 25, 2026 at 5:00 p.m.

This is a convenient and accessible way to vote from a computer, tablet, or smartphone during the online voting period. Before voting opens, eligible voters will receive a Voter Notification Letter by mail with the information needed to vote online, including a Voter Identification Number and Personal Identification Number.

To vote online, you will need your Voter Notification Letter, your date of birth, and access to the internet. Follow the instructions provided in your letter and complete your ballot before online voting closes.

Please keep your Voter Notification Letter in a safe place. If you do not receive one, you may need to confirm that you are on the Voters List or contact Haldimand County for assistance.

Election day for the 2026 Haldimand County municipal election is Monday, October 26, 2026.

All election day polls will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Please plan ahead, confirm your voting location, and make sure you have the information you need before heading to the polls.
